A true community

More than a barn — a family.

Nestled in the picturesque town of Ellenville, Winnie's Meadows Farm has earned a sterling reputation for exceptional riding services and a real, connected community. The farm is a hub for horse lovers to come together, share their passion, and forge lasting friendships.

Owner and instructor Crystal Caban brings 40+ years of riding experience and a Master's in Education. She started teaching in her parents' backyard at sixteen — and has grown that into the tight-knit community of horse lovers it is today.

Our philosophy

Happy horses, confident riders.

We believe horses should live as naturally as possible — out together, 24/7, in small social groups with constant forage. Healthy, content horses make the gentlest, most reliable partners for our riders.

That same care extends to our students. Lessons are paced to the rider, instruction is patient, and competition is always a choice, never a requirement.
