Owner & head instructor with 40+ years of riding experience. Crystal began giving lessons in her parents' backyard at sixteen and was training client horses by her early twenties. She attended Marist College, rode on the intercollegiate equestrian team, and earned a Master's in Educational Psychology & Special Education. For 22 years she's also taught Special Education at Ellenville High School. Her goal: share her love of horses with as many community members as possible, at affordable rates.
Owner, equipment manager, assistant, and husband — Michael keeps the inner workings of the farm running at full capacity. He studied business at SUNY New Paltz and has served as a Corrections Officer for nearly 20 years. From fences to footing, if it keeps the farm humming, Michael's on it.
The farm is named after the Cabans' two daughters, our "mini owners," who are both deeply involved in the riding and training side of the business. They're proof that a love of horses runs in the family.
